Nige Howarth’s pioneering work in e-learning includes 23 years with Thomson Learning’s NETg, where he held a number of senior management positions and was responsible for global marketing and product and customer service strategies.
He has conducted many in-depth audits of learning and development programmes, and researched effective learning and the impact of technology-based training on organisations and individuals. He has extensive experience in the learning technology field and has undertaken various research projects for many organisations.
He is also Head of Community Development at Towards Maturity which seeks to capture best practice in the application of learning technologies in the workplace that deliver tangible business benefits.
Nige is a Fellow of the Institute of IT Training, a Fellow of the British Institute for Learning and Development and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management.
