Sharon Claffey Kaliouby
Senior Vice President, Enterprise Ireland
Sharon Claffey Kaliouby is the Senior Vice President of Learning Solutions at Enterprise Ireland. Sharon has over 13 years of experience in Corporate Learning & Development as well as e-Services. Previously, Sharon was the Director of eServices for Thomson (now Thomson Reuters) Corporation’s Center of Excellence. Currently her key responsibilities include the identification of solutions for the Irish eLearning sector and proactively explore business opportunities for Irish companies. Since joining Enterprise Ireland, in February 2006, Sharon launched the Irish Learning Alliance –ILA (www.irishlearningalliance.net) and supports the ILA ELITE £1.5 million Industry Led Research project.
Sharon received her Master of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Emerson College and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Sharon was also a two-time member of the USFA National gold medal women’s sabre team.
