Talent and learning
The pandemic has widened the gulf between the job environment employees want and what organisations have. So how can you make your company more attractive and retain the talent you need to be successful? Across the globe organisations are facing a talent shortage. Employees have had their eyes opened and want more from their employer. However, you don’t have to give huge pay rises to keep them. Providing a skills programme will not only keep them motivated but help to build resilience in your organisation to deal with whatever is thrown at it in the future. Having structures in place that enable employees to see how they can progress and/or learn new skills is critical, but something employers need to do better. So how, in a hybrid world can you offer opportunities for your people to grow? How can you help people to shape their dream jobs and ultimately build the skills you need to support your organisational goals and future success? In this session, hosted by MHR (stand M55), Katherine Templar Lewis will explore some of the issues organisations face and how you can put strategies in place to keep your people motivated and engaged.
