Using a product mindset in L&D
Product owners have been around since the start of agile project management. Yet, what can L&D learn from this critical business role and how can a business think of L&D as a product in its own right?
Lego*. We all know it right? That amazing versatile toy that can be built in multiple ways, with lots of tiny pieces all coming together to make something magical. But, If you’ve ever gone off-piste, like if you add in some Technic, you can start going off in multiple directions. L&D is much like Lego. There are so many different pieces that need to come together to achieve the final outcome; but also multiple ways that you can often deliver the same value. So how do L&D know which pieces to build first, what bricks to use and when to use Tech(nic)…see what we did there?
