Delivering job readiness through hands-on training: The LLPA success story
Patrick Kersten is a Learning and Development professional with over 25 years of experience. As Program Director at Computrain, he leads the Microsoft practice and manages strategic alliances with Microsoft and other technology partners at both local and international levels. In this role, he helps develop impactful skills solutions for customers and the broader partner ecosystem. In recent years, through its (virtual) instructor-led programs and online offerings, Computrain has grown into a leading provider of Cloud and AI skills across the Netherlands and Belgium. Recognizing the increasingly global nature of skilling, Patrick co-founded the Leading Learning Partners Association (LLPA) in 2013. Today, LLPA is the largest global IT skilling organization, with 34 members spanning more than 62 countries. It serves as a single point of contact for worldwide skilling initiatives for technology vendors and enterprise customers. In 2020, LLPA was named Microsoft Learning Partner of the Year.
