Organisations across the world face the challenge of onboarding large numbers of new employees while maintaining quality, engagement and speed to competence.
In this session, Alliander and Digital Chefs share how they redesigned onboarding for one of the largest grid operators in the Netherlands. To support the national energy transition, Alliander needed to onboard thousands of new employees (a year) while helping them quickly understand their role in a complex and mission driven organisation.
The result was Join the Grid, an onboarding experience that combines an interactive online learning journey with a location based serious game during the introduction day.
