Thursday 4 May 2023
Seminar Theatre 1
Programme implementation , Professional development

Learning has never been a one-size-fits-all type of process, and in the current hybrid workplace, the need for flexible and agile learning opportunities is even more imperative. Blended learning styles have emerged as one of the answers to the very important question of: how can companies best support the various needs, expectations, schedules and learning styles of their employees?

In short, blended learning describes a learning structure that encompasses both face-to-face instruction—such as instructor-led training—and online learning formats. In this way, blended learning offers instructors and learners the best of both worlds.

However, there are many aspects of blended learning, and specifically blended instructor-led training models, that require much forethought and accurate planning in order to ensure the overall efficiency of the learning program. These critical steps and practices are what will be shared in this session.

If you are looking to build a new blended instructor-led training structure from scratch or hoping to finesse an already established blended learning system, you are invited to this session where you will learn all about the barriers, benefits, and best practices concerning blended instructor-led training.
