Anu completed her PGDE and taught secondary English for 4 years in the Midlands before transitioning into learning design. Since then she has worked for TeachFirst, ICAS, the Scottish Government and UAL - designing and developing training materials and bids for instructor led-virtual led and e-learnings and using facilitation and inquiry skills to lead design teams with SMEs to create comprehensive and user specific training. She is a former co-chair of the TeachFirst BAME network and named in the 30 under 30 in learning technology in 2024. As a learning designer and digital learning expert, her focus is ensuring the learning and development industry is more representative of women of colour- ensuring there are less barriers to their inclusion and development.
