My professional life is all about competent people, innovation and leadership. I think, publish, consult, and set up learning innovation projects. I hold a degree as Commercial Engineer in Information Management (KULeuven) and an Executive MBA title from the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School. I've been active in the field of learning and e-learning for the last 20 years, first as instructor and course designer, later as project manager, consultant and development manager. I worked at IBM Learning Development Europe where I was responsible for commercial e-learning development projects across Europe, and the management of the learning innovation initiatives. After that I joined the Center for Creative Leadership as a solution architect, designing custom leadership development experiences. Currently I concentrate on innovation leadership and lead CCL's innovation strategy and projects. In the past years a lot of these innovation efforts involved AI. I wrote the book 'Homo Competens', frequently speak at conferences such as Online Educa Berlin.
