I began my BSC in industrial engineering and management when I was 18 years old, and was fascinated by learning and training processes. Upon graduating with my BSC, I naturally gravitated toward teaching and training positions. Having worked in training centers, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the main challenges of training management and implementing information systems and developed a methodology for implementing them effectively. In the following years, I obtained my MBA and initiated and managed two vocational training schools. Managing the schools taught me that there is a big gap in the current teaching and learning techniques, and students cannot get the best results by learning the same material. Thus, I decided to pursue a PhD in order to research and to find the best teaching and learning methods for learners with varying characteristics. While a PhD student, I founded Blossom and developed a platform for adaptive learning, which changed the way organizations implemented information systems. Now, 15 years later, with hundreds of organizations using Blossom, I consult on advanced teaching and learning methods and on information systems implementation.
