Fraser Simpson is Associate General Counsel for the Wellcome Trust, growing a new Ethics, Governance and Compliance team. Wellcome is a charitable foundation that exists to improve global public health, funding this work from its significant endowment, currently worth £29bn. Fraser started out as a corporate lawyer at Linklaters before specialising as a charities lawyer. He moved in-house, first within a major NGO, and then a sustainable agriculture initiative. His work has taken him across the world, including time spent living and working in Tanzania. He is passionate about ensuring that purpose-driven organisations not only do the right things, but that they do them in the right way.
