A passionate supporter of personal development and growth, I have been working in the Learning and Development arena for over 30 years with 25 years’ experience at the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. In that time, I have managed and developed a number of teams including the RNLI’s in-house Learning Resources Production team, the Performance and Development team – developing Leadership and Management frameworks for staff and volunteers, and have recently completed the successful implementation of a fully revised Operational Competence Framework for the RNLI’s 10,000 operational volunteers. I’m currently collaborating with our Organisational Design team to develop a skills-based capability framework to support strategic planning activity, succession planning and personal development opportunities for staff and volunteers.
