Junaid is a practicing Consultant Anaesthetist in the Bristol region and Founding Director of MedRevision Ltd. A passionate educator and innovator he has won 2 national awards within the Technology Enhanced Learning sphere. Whilst working in intensive care during the COVID pandemic, Junaid devised a method for the rapid dissemination of new training to a large number of NHS staff to confront this novel disease utilising VR, and hence TRU-VR (TRaining Utilising – Virtual Reality) was conceived. TRU-VR is now integrated in the training of clinicians with our local region and now looking to expand its use across the NHS.
