
Nick Baker
Learning and Development Manager,

Nick Baker has held senior positions within The FA’s Education division for the last 15 years and is currently FA Education’s Senior Lead: Learning Design and Digital Innovation.
Based at St. George’s Park, Nick is responsible for managing the strategic provision of digital learning across FA Education, creating resources and experiences for the national football workforce. Previously, Nick has led and implemented change programmes and transformed traditional learning pathways, creating The FA’s first learning strategy and skills framework. He has also led FA Education’s operational and marketing teams.
Prior to The FA, Nick has enjoyed spells as a PE teacher, leading sports development units and establishing a business in the leisure industry.
He has completed an MA in adult learning and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
As a small side hustle, Nick is also a happily married father of 2 children under the age of six. If he ever finds time for himself, you’ll find him in a gym or trying not to fall off his mountain bike on the side of a hill somewhere.
