Stella Collins is founder and Chief Learning Officer at Stellar Labs, Creative Director at Stellar Learning and one of the Brain Ladies. She is the author of Kogan Page’s sellout book ‘Neuroscience for Learning and Development’, already translated into 3 other languages and now into the second edition; a Guide to Self Directed Learning; co-author of the Webinar Pocketbook and the Writing Skills Pocketbook as well as writing for magazines and journals. She has a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Human Communication, is a Fellow of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning and through Stellar Labs is returning to her work roots in the IT industry. She has a clear understanding of the challenges faced by people asked to communicate tough or technical messages and applies principles from neuroscience and psychology to create practical solutions to workbased challenges. She regularly consults, designs and delivers face to face and digital training herself, so knows the principles work in the real world, delivering genuine return on investment. Stella has trained 1,000s of learning professionals in brain friendly principles. Stella inspires audiences at international learning conference, judges learning awards and is regularly invited to participate in round table discussions and learning events.
