Learning Technologies Premium Series

Year-long support & inspiration

The Learning Technologies Premium Series is a different way to get together with your L&D colleagues online and tackle the key issues on your mind. We take an important topic, an insightful speaker, a room full of smart L&D practitioners and mix. Stimulated by a 10-minute mini-presentation, we move in and out of break out rooms and joint sessions, discussing different facets of this pressing problem.

All Premium Conference delegates will be emailed joining instructions one week prior to each session. For any further queries, please contact Marcos Henchy at or +44 (0)208 092 6791.

The future of work, and of L&D

The future of work and why L&D is at its centre

21 September 2022 - Hosted on Zoom
15:30 - 17:00 BST

The worlds of work and business are in flux, and senior leadership is open to the idea of change. This opens up the opportunity to shift L&D to a more strategic role – but how? In this session, Donald Taylor and Nigel Paine will describe the drivers behind the nature of work, and describe how to prepare for it.

Then, because this is the Learning Technologies Premium Series, we’ll turn things over to you. In discussion – both as a group and in breakout rooms – we’ll look at your issues, experiences and suggestions for making the most of this moment.

Above all, we’ll talk about why L&D is more important than ever, and how to persuade your CEO that it is more than a training function.
