Adobe Systems' seminars on virtual classrooms and collaborative learning

Can virtual classrooms replace face-to-face teacher and student interactions? by Will Cawthorne, Web Conferencing Specialist, Adobe Systems, takes places on Wednesday 26th January 12:00 - 12:30, in Theatre 8 on the Learning and Skills exhibition floor. With the current economic challenges facing many organisations today, reducing travel budget has become a priority. Rapid changes in virtual technology is making web conferencing an accessible option. However, in the classroom environment, can technology ever replace the importance of physical, face-to-face collaboration?

Adobe's second seminar, Collaborative learning using Twitter and Adobe Captivate, by Akshay Bharadwaj, Product Manager, Adobe Systems, is taking place on Thursday 27th January 11:00 - 11:30, in Theatre 1 on the Learning Technologies exhibition floor. Ashay will show how the move from classroom based training to eLearning can be eased by using social tools like Twitter and includes a demonstration of Captivate content integrated with Twitter to enable collaborative learning. The presentation will also showcase how courses delivered on this social networking platform will catalyze learner collaboration, and teacher-learner interaction.
