How do you ensure that your employees are ready for the workplace of the future? Whether it's a young person entering the workplace or someone close to retirement, everyone needs the right skill set – which may be quite different from skills needed in the past. While digital skills are clearly crucial in the post Covid world, the more difficult-to-define skills of dealing with ambiguity, developing relationships and demonstrating mental flexibility are also accurate predictors of workplace success.

It has never been more important to support employees in developing crucial new skills, particularly when they are transitioning from one role to another or when the organisation is changing its entire style of work, such as from face-to-face to online. In this session we’ll explore how to identify the important skills of the future, while at the same time supporting the right to learn at work and remaining flexible and open to the changes that lie ahead.

  • Understanding the new world of work
  • Which skills are now crucial?
  • Using data effectively
  • The role of L&D in shaping the future
  • Why the employees’ voice is essential to success
