In this session, Sharon will talk about the importance of games in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and acquisition of skills. Also, how games need not be complex or expensive to achieve the objectives.

Sharon will share a 2019 Learning Technologies Gold award winning case study (Best learning game) designed for NATS, the leading air traffic operator in the UK

The learning outcomes from the session are:

  • Understand the concept of Skill Booster games
  • Appreciate the importance of such games in the acceleration of skills (reducing time to competence)
