Sylvia Johnson

Currently Head of Methodology at Preply, Sylvia Johnson has over twenty years experience specializing in language and culture methodology and training. This includes the development of cross cultural awareness and skills based learning programs for the corporate sector as well as the creation of a virtual learning curriculum to include content, methodology and teacher training.
Her area of specific interest is the optimisation of student progress and learning outcomes within a digital framework. During her career, she has managed teams of up to 250 pedagogical developers and trainers across several countries in Europe.
Sylvia holds a Masters degree in Digital Technology for Language Learning from the University of Nottingham and lives in Barcelona with her three daughters and two dogs.
