Since the start of the current phase of the war in Ukraine just over 2 years ago, the education system in Ukraine has been under attack. Having already endured 2 years of COVID, Schools and Universities have been shelled and critical infrastructure damaged, preventing effective distance learning. In these circumstances, how does education and learning look? And what can be done about it?

From the eyes of someone who has spent the last 14 months collecting and delivering humanitarian aid to Ukraine, this session will explore the challenges that face a country that in addition to losing the ability to educate, is also losing a key part of its future leadership either through forced migration to Russia or as battle casualties in brutal fighting. What happens when learning - vital to any country's future - is so fundamentally disrupted? Join Andy Wooler for a discussion.
