Who can attend Learning Technologies?

Learning Technologies is open to all decision makers within their business’s Learning operations. This includes, but is not limited to, any development professionals involved with organisational learning and learning technology:

When and where will Learning Technologies 2024 take place?

When: Wednesday, 17 April - Thursday, 18 April 2024, 09:00-17:00 BST daily
Where: ExCeL London, Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL

The conference, along with subsequent coffee and lunch breaks, will take place in the Platinum Suite.

The entrance and halls for the exhibition floor will be confirmed at a later date.

What happens after I book my conference pass?

Once you have booked you will:

     ○ Receive your receipt and delegate badge via email, printable at the show

     ○ Be the first to hear about programme and speaker updates

What happens after I register for the free exhibition?

Once you are registered you will:

     ○ Receive your registration badge by email, printable at the show

     ○ Be the first to hear about the free seminar programme and speaker updates

What are my travel options?

The nearest stations to ExCeL London is Custom House and Prince Regent, best accessed via the London Underground.

What are my accommodation options?

Do I need a VISA to attend if I'm not from the UK?

You may be required to obtain a VISA to travel to the UK, depending on where you are travelling from. Please check the gov.uk website to find out more.

How much are tickets to Learning Technologies?

The exhibition is free and you can find out about paid conference passes here.

Is there an event app?

The Learning & HR Technologies app is free to download on iOS and Android. The app includes a 'My Event' feature to bookmark sessions and business meetings, view the event floor plan, connect with other users, and explore the programmes and exhibitor list, all in once place.

What is the dress code?

Smart attire/ businesswear is encouraged but not essential for entry.

What can I expect from Learning Technologies?

Europe's leading workplace learning event brings a network of L&D professionals and innovators together for a conference and free exhibition. There will be over 200 free seminars, practical case studies, and networking opportunities with 9,000 attendees all in the name of Learning & Development.
Here are just some of the learning objectives:

Are exhibitors collecting any personal data?

All badges are encoded with your name, address, phone, organisation, and e-mail address (if applicable). This information is only obtained by exhibitors if they scan your badge at their stand. If you do not wish to share your information, please do not have your badge scanned at an exhibition stand.

 

About the venue

Is there Wi-Fi available?

ExCeL London offers free Wi-FI suitable for light web surfing, social media and emails. We therefore advise downloading any large files before arriving at the venue.

Is there childcare available?

Unfortunately, day care is not available.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted inside ExCeL London. Smoking is permitted outside the venue, with clear signs indicating where it's permitted.

Are there cloakrooms?

ExCeL London cloakrooms are open during event hours and are provided free of charge, subject to availability. The cloakrooms are located on level 0 (down the stairs, in between hall entrances N4 and S4), and at the east end of the venue on level 0. 

If you are attending the Learning Technologies Conference, the Platinum Suite has its own cloakroom.

Please note ExCeL is unable to store any items overnight, and cameras, laptop equipment or any other electronic devices cannot be stored in cloakroom at any time.

Is there a lost & found?

If you have lost an item, please go to the Organiser's Office, which will be clearly displayed on the floorplan available on entry.

Are there any Covid-19 restrictions?

You are no longer required to provide a Covid-19 status upon entry, and masks are not mandatory but welcomed if you prefer to wear one. Hand sanitisers are provided throughout the public areas of the venue and ExCeL staff regularly clean public areas for your safety.
